KB x KABK (IAFD) exposition

The IAFD department will present their prototypes and installations via the exhibition 'Friends from the past' (16-12 is the examination of their work). This expo will remain 1 week in the KB Atelier. After the exposition, the students release an online video of the exposition. This video will be shared on this website as well.

Students of TU Delft present installations

Friday December 17th the students of the minor «Interactive Environments» of the TU Delft will present five prototypes of installations that they have made for the Open Digital Libraries collaboration. The students have all taken their own starting position to enthuse visitors, passers-by and strangers for the KB collection in an interactive and playful way.

Kick-off in the KB Atelier, including guided tours through the KB depots, restoration atelier and an presentation with the most wonderful alba amicora. Dick van Dijk (Waag Society) and Sophie Reinders (Neerlandica) will give presentations about Heritage in contemporary debates and female alba.

Expo Hague Bakkies

Hague Bakkies is another installation by the Open Digital Libraries under the name «user centered work spaces». This time curated by Huibert Crijns, Dirk Huijsmans and Jessica Wevers of KB National Library. Created in collaboration with the students of the Industrial Design program at the Technical University of Delft.

Booklaunch ‘How Would You Like To Get Lampooned, My Lord?’

This afternoon the KB organizes the booklaunch of the book publication, which is created by the KABK NLN Master students. The publication is based on the Alba amicorum collection of the KB, National library of The Netherlands.
